Terms and Conditions.
Full interments in shrouds or coffins made of cardboard, softwood or other similar readily biodegradable materials only are permitted.
Side-by-side and double depth plots are not possible, except in the case of ash interment.
Floral tributes will be removed after a funeral when looking tired.
Nothing other than a plaque, tree and wild flowers will be permitted on the grave anything deemed unfit by us will be removed and either recycled or donated to charity this includes all plastic items.
A slate memorial plaque of no more that 30cm x 30cm can be placed flat on the grave, prices upon request, plaques not ordered via us must be approved before placing on grave, otherwise might be removed and recycled, placement fees apply.
Tree planting is undertaken by Crossways Burials during the early part of the year following burial, all trees planted on the site by ourselves or others become the property of the burial ground and will be managed as we see fit as in pruning, coppicing and felling.
Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to follow requests for the planting of a particular species of tree, Crossways Burials will make the final decision.
The management of the burial ground will be implemented at the sole discretion of Crossways Burials.
Reservations are conditional upon receipt of payment in full, a specific plot cannot be reserved and monies are not refundable.
No interment will be permitted without the appropriate Registrar's Certificate or Coroner's Order for Burial and payment in full.
Payment will be also signifying that our terms and conditions are accepted and will be abided by.
Exclusive right of burial will be 99 years from date of burial.
No exhumation will be permitted under any circumstances, except by direction of a Court of Law.
A burial does not constitute sale of the land and management of the grave is ultimately the responsibility of Crossways.
To ensure a cohesive vision for the site, items not deemed suitable will be removed.(plastic items etc)
Dogs are allowed on site as long as supervised as livestock in adjacent fields, it would be appreciated if they leave nothing behind on departure.
Placing of Benches or plaques not supplied through us will only be allowed with the permission of management and a payment of fees, the bench etc will then become the property of Crossways Burials
Crossways Burials reserve the right to update and amend these terms, as and when they see fit.
